My name is Laura Maisano, and I launched RayhaStudios.com to showcase my skills as a technical writer, graphic designer, and artist. I have experience in technical communication in both the language and visual aspects of the field, and I enjoy creating organized, streamlined documents and graphics to communicate to a specific audience.
I have experience in many different fields including retail, sales, marketing, promotions, and software documentation. I worked as the guest relations director for an entertainment convention for three years where I created event and guest schedules, collected and directed a group of volunteers, and organized many different aspects of the event.
I have also worked as the marketing coordinator for a high-tech promotional supplier where I prepared trade shows, marketing material, brochures, and advertisements. I also supported the sales staff by preparing sales orders, talking with customers, and creating inventory and monthly sales reports.
I currently work for a travel technology company as an information developer/technical writer and a software company as a technical writer where I edit, update, and re-design user manuals. At the travel technology company I write and update online help, training manuals, release notes, and other customer facing documentation. At the software company I also help with website content and organization, and marketing materials and graphic representations.
